The kids had a fun school project. The had to make an animal
out of vegetables. We searched online to find some fun ideas.
Dallin was convinced that he didn't want to do it, but once
we got started he had a lot of fun doing it, and he got to
use a big knife! Chase decided to make a caterpillar with
a cucumber. It was really cute! Dallin decided to make a
turtle using a cabbage and cucumbers for the spots. He cut it
and put it together by himself and loved it. When I picked
him up at school he said, "guess what mom, I got first place."
I didn't believe him at first, because he likes to try and trick
me. But he really did get first place for all the 2nd and 3rd
grades. That just made the project even more fun!!
